Community Prayer
with St. Columba the Exile

We invite you to a few methods of community prayer that you, as a seeker and fellow exile, may want to experiment with for the benefit of your prayer life.

We use "Common Prayer: A Liturgy for Ordinary Radicals" as our common community prayer book. You may buy a hard copy from your favorite book seller or you can find Common Prayer for free at the link below and also in your app store.

We also suggest using prayer beads to assist one in their contemplative prayer.

Daily Morning Worship with the Iona Community

You are also invited to lift your heart and mind to God through a daily service of Morning Worship from the Iona Community. You may follow along with the words on the screen or you may purchase the Iona Abbey Worship Book (paperback or pdf.) below.

Our official liturgical text, The Convergent Prayer Book,  may be found for free or to purchase below. In the words of

Bishop JOHN GREGORY,

"This Prayer Book represents another step in our evolution, as a Communion, toward a more perfect balance of Christian Tradition.  When our Communion formed in 2014, our founders envisioned a church that represented the best that Christian Tradition had to offer, and this Prayer Book represents another opportunity for us to show what that means."
